Spring Baptism Photos

This darling spunky girl is turning eight and to celebrate her baptism her mom wanted some photos of her in her beautiful white dress. She was so much fun to work with and had a lot of fun ideas for poses and pictures that she wanted. We took these photos at the Salt Lake Temple on a lovely spring evening and the grounds were simply beautiful. Here are just a few photos from our time there.

She was great at twirling in her dress. I love both the black and white and color versions of this picture of her twirling, even the unique but fun sun flare on the temple. 

No time of the year quite compares with spring flowers at the temple grounds. The tulips were amazing!

We ended the session with some candids of her playing in the gardens near the temple. I love this photo because it reminds me of a secret magical garden. 

Graduation Photos at the Law Library

My little sister is graduating from Law School next month so we took some pictures to celebrate. I've always wanted to do a photo session in a library but have been scared of getting yelled at by the librarians. So when she told me that the Law Library is pretty empty on Saturday afternoons I jumped at the chance. The books were all so pretty and there was a great combination of colorful, old, and textured books and the new law building at the U of U is beautiful so it was the perfect place!
