Fall is Here

This session was so much fun because we found the perfect location right in our backyard! It was a lot of fun because at five months old, P was into exploring everything! I looked away for two-seconds and before I knew it she was sampling the leaves.

DIY Family Picture

This was my first attempt at using a remote to take our family pictures. We were hoping for bold fall leaves, but ended up in the canyon a little too early. Despite that fact, I love the greens and yellows we managed to incorporate into our photo.

Grin

I love this cute smile that I got during P's three month-old mini-session.

K's Seniors at Memory Grove

Such a fun senior picture session with my sister K! She is a senior in high school this year and is the head cheerleader at her school and she is incredibly smart. She is a natural when it comes to posing so she made my work really easy for me.

Turquoise

My youngest sister is a senior in high school this year and so while we were in Las Vegas a few weeks before school started, we ventured out for a photo session. Unfortunately it was blazing hot and so we only spent a few minutes shooting, but managed to snap this photo that we both love. She looks stunning no matter what color she wears but I think that turquoise is definitely one of her colors.

All American Cutie

I knew that this would be one of the last times that little P would fit the "All American Cutie" dress she wore home from the hospital, and I wanted to document how happy she is every time she wears it. This session and photo in particular led to one of those moments of realizations in which I  decided that I really love taking photographs of babies and children. Yes they are sometimes difficult subjects, but I feel that the reward of a whole face lighting smile makes up for how difficult it is.

Chile

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Chile, it truly was one of the most beautiful places on earth.
